On Monday afternoon, platform X reported approximately 42,000 reports of outages globally, according to the American version of the site. This new outage affects users in various countries, including the United States, Australia, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. The issues are not new, as last month there were already reports of outages that led to a lack of posts both on the app and on the site. In recent months, the platform has experienced an increase in outages, and these new problems arise in the context of previous claims by Elon Musk, who boasted about the robustness of X in the face of major outages of Amazon's cloud service (AWS). Musk had previously suggested that cyberattacks could be responsible for some of the issues encountered by his social network.
