Apple is exploring the opportunity to acquire Perplexity AI, an artificial intelligence-based search engine, according to Bloomberg sources. While no formal offer has been issued, discussions suggest Apple could opt for either an acquisition or a collaboration. Perplexity AI is valued at $14 billion and an acquisition would allow Apple to improve its technology and expertise in artificial intelligence, where it lags behind other tech companies.
