Volodymyr Zelensky announced that on Thursday there will be a new round of negotiations between Ukrainians and Americans in Geneva.

The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Rustem Umierov, the head of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, will hold discussions with the American team in Geneva on February 26. In a WhatsApp conversation with reporters, Zelensky mentioned that Umierov will meet with Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's special envoy, and Jared Kushner, the American president's son-in-law, along with other American officials.

The discussions will focus on a "prosperity package" and economic cooperation, as part of the preparations for a trilateral meeting with Russia, scheduled for early March. The last trilateral discussions took place from February 17-18 in Geneva.
