Amid intensifying conflict, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski has called for a trilateral summit with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin to discuss peace. At the same time, Russia, through its Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, announced that it would soon communicate details of the next round of talks with Ukraine. Zelensky emphasized the importance of the US imposing tough sanctions on Moscow, especially in the energy and banking sectors, and said he was ready for any format of meeting despite Putin's refusal to meet bilaterally.
