Composer Mark Snow, famous for the credits and music for more than 200 episodes of the cult X-Files, has died at the age of 78. His agent confirmed the death but gave no details of the circumstances. Born Martin Fulterman, Snow was a recognized talent, with 15 Emmy nominations, and studied at the prestigious Juilliard School. Throughout his career, he also composed for the two movies based on the series.
