Michael Gann, a 55-year-old man, has been indicted in New York for planting explosives in various locations, including on rooftops and subway lines. He made seven improvised explosive devices and launched three from the Williamsburg Bridge. One of the devices landed on the subway tracks, and authorities discovered that one of the explosives contained 600 times the legal limit of powder. Gann, arrested June 5, faces up to 40 years in prison.
