Warren Buffett may cease his annual billion-dollar donations to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, following recent revelations about Bill Gates' connections to Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.
In an interview with CNBC, Buffett mentioned that he has not spoken to Gates since the information became public. Although he does not believe Gates was involved in illegal activities, Buffett wants to learn more details. He emphasized that he has not yet made a decision regarding the continuation of donations, waiting for the situation to evolve. Buffett committed in 2006 to donate Berkshire Hathaway shares to the foundation during his lifetime, but later announced that he would no longer provide funds after his death.
At 95 years old, Buffett continues to work daily at the office and participate in investment decisions.
