The White House has warned that the eastern Ukrainian town of Avdiivka is at risk of falling under Russian control amid continued pressure from the Russian military.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby has warned that Avdiivka is at risk of falling under Russian control as a result of continued pressure from the Russian military. The Russian army has brought some 50,000 troops to the front line in Avdiivka.
