At the COP30 climate conference in Belem, Amazon, protesters armed with sticks forcibly entered the meeting venue, causing violent clashes with security agents.

At the entrance of the building, the protesters confronted the security forces, who were forced to barricade the doors with tables to protect themselves. A witness observed a security agent being urgently transported in a wheelchair, suffering from abdominal pain. Additionally, another agent was injured on the forehead after being hit by a drum thrown by a protester. After these incidents, the protesters quickly dispersed, while a group of hundreds of people marched towards the location of the conference.
