In an interview, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that George Simion is a threat to the Hungarian community in Romania, praising the vote against him by Hungarians in Transylvania. Orban stressed the importance of not collaborating with extremists, be they right-wing or left-wing. He also expressed a willingness to cooperate with the new government in Bucharest and acknowledged the economic difficulties Romania is facing.
