Victor Ponta, former prime minister, expresses his disagreement with USR ministers Oana Țoiu and Ionuț Moșteanu, who are now praising the partnerships with the US and Turkey, in contrast to their earlier criticism of leaders Trump and Erdogan. Ponta says these relations are essential for Romania and appreciates President Nicușor Dan's efforts to strengthen them. He believes that the current USR enthusiasm is an electoral maneuver aimed at capturing an educated electorate. At the same time, Nicușor Dan has spoken with international leaders, including Trump and Macron, on diplomatic issues.
