Vera Alentova, an emblematic actress of Soviet cinema, passed away at the age of 83, according to an announcement made by the Pushkin Theatre in Moscow. Known for her role in the film 'Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears', which won the Oscar in 1981, Alentova had a prolific career, appearing in approximately 30 films and being active for six decades in theater.
Born in 1942, the actress began her career in 1965 and continued to appear in television series in recent years. She also wrote an autobiography and taught acting classes, influencing young actors.
