Varese, a major industrial center in northern Italy, is launching a program offering €6,000 in non-repayable grants to people who move to the area and get a job. The demographic crisis has led to a labor shortage, and chamber of commerce president Mauro Vitiello points out that despite local universities, young people are choosing to move to other countries because of lower wages. The initiative aims to boost the attraction of professionals and improve the quality of life in the region.
