Funding cuts to the US Agency for International Development (USAID) under the Trump administration could cause the deaths of more than 14 million vulnerable people, including children, according to a study published in the Lancet. These cuts threaten health advances made over the past two decades. On the sidelines of a UN conference in Spain, researcher Davide Rasella emphasizes the major risks to global health from foreign aid cuts.
