The US and NATO are working together to create a mechanism whereby NATO countries will fund the purchase of US weapons for Ukraine in the wake of Russian attacks. President Trump has expressed displeasure with Russia and announced that European allies will pay for the weapons. Ukraine will prioritize its needs and NATO will coordinate the donations. It is estimated that the system could provide $10 billion worth of weapons. Also under discussion is a fund to replenish US military stocks donated to Ukraine.
