At the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, three sites in Madagascar, Egypt and Libya were removed from the List of World Heritage in Danger following conservation efforts. Rainforests in Atsinanana (Madagascar) have benefited from technological and educational measures that have reduced deforestation and poaching. Abu Mena (Egypt) was stabilized through engineering projects, and Ghadames (Libya) was restored to protect its historical heritage. These decisions reflect a collective commitment to cultural heritage conservation.
