Speculation about Xi Jinping's state of health is intensifying following the emergence of unconfirmed reports that the Chinese president may have suffered a stroke

Wanjun Xie, a Chinese dissident, claimed in a post on the X platform that Chinese President Xi Jinping allegedly fainted during the BRICS summit in New Delhi and subsequently suffered a severe ischemic stroke. The information has not been confirmed by authorities and is not supported by independently verifiable evidence.

Xie claimed that Xi had allegedly returned to China and had been transported by military helicopter from Beijing airport to the General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, known as Hospital 301. He further claimed that the Chinese leader had allegedly been diagnosed by a medical team and had not received timely treatment after deciding to return to Beijing instead of remaining hospitalized in India.

The post received a community note on X indicating that the claims are inconsistent with the available facts. The itinerary published by China indicates Xi's departure on the last day of his summit visit and does not confirm an unexpected interruption to the program. However, official documents cannot independently establish his state of health after his return to Beijing.
