The UN has announced that Antonio Guterres is deeply concerned about the presence of North Korean troops in Russia, with the possible intention of deploying them on the Ukrainian front. This could escalate the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The US estimates that some 8,000 North Korean troops have been deployed in the Kursk region on the border with Ukraine.
