Ukrainian drones attack the "phantom fleet" of Russia, hitting 19 oil tankers and a cargo ship.

In the last 72 hours, Ukrainian drones have struck 19 oil tankers and a cargo ship from the so-called 'phantom fleet' of Russia, used to circumvent international sanctions on hydrocarbon exports from the occupied territories of Ukraine. The information was provided by the head of the Ukrainian drone forces, Robert Brovdi, known by the nickname 'Magyar'.

He mentioned an additional attack on a ferry near the city of Kerch, which connects Crimea to the Russian Federation. Nine of the oil tankers were attacked in the Sea of Azov, and Brovdi also reported the bombing of six power substations in Crimea, estimating that approximately 50 energy infrastructures were affected in July. Additionally, Ukrainian forces attacked 53 military targets in Crimea and in the occupied territories of mainland Ukraine.

These attacks have led to power outages and a fuel shortage in Crimea, while Kyiv aims to isolate Russian troops from this strategic peninsula.
