The Ukrainian Armed Forces have announced that a Mirage 2000 airplane suffered a technical malfunction, the pilot immediately reported the problem and successfully ejected. It was found by a rescue team in stable condition with no casualties on the ground. The incident took place in the Volîn region and represents the first loss of a Mirage aircraft since Ukraine started receiving these aircraft in February. Ukraine has also started receiving F-16 jets from several partner states.
