The US Department of Defense has signed a contract with Auterion to deliver 33,000 artificial intelligence drone kits, a significant increase over previous deliveries. These kits will transform manual drones into autonomous systems capable of withstanding jamming and tracking remote targets. Against the backdrop of increased Russian air strikes, President Zelenski also announced domestic production of interceptor drones. The deal, worth nearly $50m, is part of US assistance to Ukraine.
