In recent days, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian air defense, both in occupied territories and in Russia, with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of its strikes and forcing Moscow to begin negotiations. The 'Phantom' unit of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced attacks on key elements of the air defense network in Donbas, including an S-400 command post. Recently, an attack on a military base in Novorossiisk led to the destruction of several S-400 launchers and radars, thereby weakening Russia's defense.

Analyzing the impact of these attacks, experts emphasize that the destruction of air defense systems will allow Ukrainian drones and missiles to operate more effectively. Additionally, the weakening of Russia's air defense forces Moscow to concentrate equipment in selected areas, exposing refineries and the energy sector. Ukraine aims to increase its own missile production, such as Neptune and Flamingo, but to have a significant impact, it needs additional missile deliveries from international partners, such as Tomahawk and Taurus. This situation could change the Russian population's perception of the war, increasing pressure on the Kremlin.
