The National Anti-Corruption Agency (NABU) has uncovered a corruption scheme in which politicians and members of the National Guard are accused of manipulating state contracts for drones and electronic warfare equipment at inflated prices. President Zelenski recognized the work of anti-corruption agencies and signed a new law restoring their independence after an earlier law sparked protests. Suspected National Guard members have been suspended and the investigation continues amid endemic corruption in Ukraine.
