Ukraine and Portugal have announced an agreement for the production of maritime drones, according to statements from the Ukrainian presidential advisor, Oleksandr Kamyshin. These Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) have proven effective in confrontations with Russian ships and submarines and will contribute to Europe's maritime defense. This partnership represents an important step in expanding Ukraine's defense collaborations with NATO member states, in the context of the increased use of naval drones in the conflict with Russia. In parallel, Ukraine is starting a new round of negotiations with the United States to discuss proposals for ending the war with Russia. Rustem Umerov, head of the Ukrainian delegation, mentioned that the discussions will also include European partners, emphasizing the importance of guaranteeing Ukraine's long-term security. Additionally, the Trump administration is exerting pressure to end the conflict, with discussions between American and Ukrainian officials recently taking place in Berlin.
