Earlier this week, the UK will experience a heatwave, with temperatures forecast to reach 34 degrees Celsius, surpassing conditions in tropical destinations such as Barbados, Jamaica and Mexico. Forecasters warn that temperature records could be broken, with only three years since 1960 having recorded temperatures above 34 degrees in June. Meanwhile, the heatwave is also affecting other parts of Europe, with code red warnings issued in Spain and France.
