Jack Lang, former Minister of Culture and President of the Arab World Institute, was summoned by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide explanations after being mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files. Although there are no accusations against him, his name appears 673 times in documents, and his connections to the American financier have sparked criticism and pressure for his resignation from the head of IMA. Lang claims that he was not aware of Epstein's criminal past and described his involvement as "naivety," while political leaders and former government colleagues are urging him to consider protecting the institution's image.
