The incident took place on November 26 at an AD Delhaize store, where I.G. stole chocolate and was caught on CCTV. After fleeing in a BMW driven by his accomplice, I.T., he was caught by police. I.G. admitted the theft, explaining that he was attracted by the chocolate's popularity as he was unemployed. Although accused of belonging to a criminal organization, their lawyers asked for acquittal, arguing the lack of an organized structure.
