Great Britain: Dan Jukes and James Orr resigned following an undercover investigation into possible foreign donations to Reform UK

Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform UK party, has lost two of his closest advisers after they were caught in an undercover investigation into the party's funding. Dan Jukes, Farage's director of communications, and James Orr, his chief policy adviser, resigned on Friday during the party's conference in Birmingham.

The decisions came after Channel 4 broadcast footage in which the two allegedly accepted donations from a foreign donor through an intermediary in the United Kingdom. Experts in electoral law say that receiving the money and attempting to conceal its origin could violate the law. Labour Party chair Bridget Phillipson referred the case to the Metropolitan Police on Friday. Reform UK announced that it would launch an investigation.
