The resolution adopted by the Turkish Parliament calls for the recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and questions the intransigence of the Greek side in the negotiation process. The resolution also calls on the international community to end the isolation imposed on Turkish Cypriots. The move comes on the 50th anniversary of Turkey's military intervention in Cyprus.
