A Turkish military cargo plane, flying from Azerbaijan to Turkey, crashed on Saturday at the border between Georgia and Azerbaijan, according to the announcement from the Turkish Ministry of Defense. Turkish authorities immediately launched search and rescue operations in collaboration with Azerbaijani and Georgian authorities. The plane, a C-130 of the Turkish Air Force, was tracked during the flight, but the signal was lost over Georgian territory. So far, no casualties have been reported. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
