Donald Trump’s childhood home in Queens sold for $1.93 million

The Queens house where Donald Trump lived until the age of four was sold for $1.93 million after a buyer signed a contract in July. The property, built in 1940 by his father, real estate developer Fred Trump, is located in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood.

The home has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The buyer was not identified, and the transaction was carried out through the entity Trump Birth Home LLC. The price appeared on real estate websites on Friday.

The seller, developer Tommy Lin, bought the house last year for $835,000 after it had been left vacant and fallen into an advanced state of disrepair. Lin invested approximately $500,000 in an eight-month renovation that included a new kitchen, wooden floors, and spa-style bathrooms.

The property was sold for $2.14 million in 2017, a few months after Trump became president, and was put up for sale again in 2019 for $2.9 million.

The property had also been temporarily offered on Airbnb, with items associated with Trump's public image.
