President Donald Trump issued severe threats against Iran on Thursday, stating that the United States will strike "VERY HARD" at it, mentioning that Iranian military forces have been severely affected. Trump declared that, in the near future, the U.S. will conquer Kharg Island and other oil infrastructures, taking control of oil and gas markets, similar to what happened in Venezuela.

This rhetoric comes amid a new round of attacks between the U.S. and Iran, which have brought the two nations to the brink of a major conflict. The Iranian Foreign Ministry reacted, stating that recent attacks have rendered the April ceasefire "meaningless." Tensions continue to rise, with no signs of de-escalation of the situation.
