In a phone interview with Axios, President Donald Trump stated that the war with Iran will end 'soon', mentioning that 'there is practically nothing left to hit' in Iran. Although Trump suggests that the operation has achieved its objectives, American and Israeli officials indicate that there is no clear directive regarding the cessation of hostilities.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the war will continue indefinitely until all objectives are met. Additionally, American officials are preparing for at least two more weeks of attacks.

Trump confirmed the destruction of 16 mine-laying vessels by the U.S., and CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper emphasized that the American mission is to eliminate Iran's ability to project power. Trump stated that the war is going well and that Iran is paying for its past actions.
