US President Donald Trump has said he is not offering Iran anything and is not in talks with Tehran, stressing that its nuclear facilities have been completely destroyed. Trump dismissed reports of talks on financial assistance for a civilian nuclear program and said the United States will respond with new strikes if Iran enriches uranium for nuclear purposes. Iranian official Majid Takht-Ravanchi said the dialog can resume only if the US rules out new strikes.
