President Donald Trump stated that, in the context of negotiations with Iran, he is willing to cancel planned attacks, provided that a quick agreement is reached to ensure the complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the elimination of Iran's nuclear threat. Israel has joined this commitment, according to Trump's statements.

At the same time, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed concerns about a possible escalation of the conflict, fearing that American attacks on Iran could lead to reprisals against energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has collaborated with the U.S. in attacks on Iran-backed militias in Iraq, but has called for the resumption of negotiations to end the conflict.

Trump has promised retaliatory measures against Iran, which has violated a recent ceasefire, and the State Department has issued security warnings for American citizens in ten countries in the region, in the context of rising tensions.
