President Donald Trump expressed his appreciation for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing him as a "warrior prime minister" during a speech at Andrews Joint Base, where he unveiled a new presidential aircraft.

Trump's comments come at a time of tension, following criticism directed at Israeli officials by him and his administration, amid concerns that military operations in Lebanon could affect US-Iran negotiations. Vice President JD Vance sparked controversy in Israel, stating that Trump is the only world leader who supports Israel, suggesting that the Israeli government should not attack its only strong ally.

In the wake of recent attacks, Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to renew the ceasefire, which led to the cancellation of a planned trip by Vance for the signing of the US-Iran agreement.
