 
            The American president Donald Trump and the Uzbek president Shavkat Mirziyoyev will have a meeting next week in Washington, according to statements from the Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher Landau. He mentioned that his visit to Uzbekistan was an important step in facilitating the meeting between the two leaders. Additionally, the Kazakh president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will participate in a US - Central Asia summit on November 6.
Trump is currently on a tour in Asia, where he will meet with Chinese president Xi Jinping. Recently, Trump announced an 8 billion dollar contract between Uzbekistan Airways and Boeing for the purchase of aircraft. Discussions between American and Uzbek officials included topics such as reforms in Uzbekistan, trade opportunities, and security cooperation.
