Although China is conducting military exercises around Taiwan for two days, American President Donald Trump stated that he is not concerned about this situation. At a press conference, Trump emphasized that he has an excellent relationship with Chinese President Xi Jinping, who did not communicate anything to him about the ongoing exercises. These maneuvers, which began on Monday, come shortly after the U.S. announced a significant arms sale to Taiwan. The exercises include simulating a blockade of the island and consisted of 10 hours of live ammunition firing in various locations around Taiwan. Taiwan's Ministry of Defense reported the presence of 130 Chinese military aircraft in the area, of which 90 crossed an unofficial median line, prompting a response from Taiwanese armed forces, which monitored the situation and deployed military resources.
