American President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform, Truth Social, that any country supplying military weapons to Iran will be immediately subject to a 50% tariff on every good sold to the United States, without exceptions. This statement came after Trump announced a temporary ceasefire to allow negotiations with Tehran. He emphasized that Iran has undergone a "very productive regime change" and that the United States will work closely with this country. Trump stated that there will be no uranium enrichment and that nuclear remnants will be removed with the help of B-2 bombers, under "strict satellite surveillance." He also mentioned that negotiations with Iran are already underway, with many of the 15 agreed points. Trump declared that the possibility of a final peace agreement with Iran is "in a very advanced stage," emphasizing that all military objectives have been met and exceeded.
