At a press conference in Scotland, Trump said there was no longer any reason to wait and imposed a short ultimatum on Putin, expressing his disappointment at Russia's actions as it continues its attacks on Ukraine. Ukrainian authorities welcomed the message, emphasizing the need for peace through force. Trump said that without an agreement, the US would impose 100% trade tariffs on Russia's economic partners. Communication with Putin has been constant, but Russia's actions do not reflect real progress.
