Donald Trump has approved plans to strike Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, but has decided to delay action to assess whether Tehran will give up its nuclear program. Although he does not want war, Trump has said he will act if Iran does not comply. Amid the tensions, Israel has launched attacks on Iran and Iran has retaliated with missiles, causing casualties on both sides. The international community, including G7 and global leaders, is calling for de-escalation of the conflict and the resumption of diplomatic negotiations.
