American President Donald Trump announced a fourfold increase in arms production by companies in the military sector, in the context of the war in the Middle East which generates significant costs.

This decision comes in response to pressures exerted by Trump on arms manufacturers to intensify their activities. In a post on his social network, Trump mentioned that the expansion of production began three months before a meeting with major defense contractors, including Lockheed Martin and Boeing. The companies agreed to increase the production of advanced weapons, and Lockheed Martin confirmed that it is already working on the delivery of critical munitions. RTX, previously criticized by Trump for its slow pace, has signed agreements to boost the production of defense systems.
