On Monday, on the Egnatia highway in northern Greece, a serious accident took place between the towns of Komotini and Xanthi, when a truck collided with two cars, causing a fire. Three passengers in one car died and the driver of the truck and another passenger were seriously injured. Twenty-two firefighters intervened and traffic restrictions were imposed. Police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
