A visitor to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence damaged a valuable painting while trying to take a selfie, leaning on the baroque painting 'Portrait of Ferdinando de' Medici'. The incident was caught on video and the man was identified and reported to the police. The museum said the damage is minor and the painting will be restored. Museum director Simone Verde stressed the need for strict rules to prevent such inappropriate behavior.
