Three men have been arrested in London on suspicion of having assisted the Russian intelligence service, as part of a counter-terrorism police investigation.

Three men, aged 48, 45, and 44, were arrested on Thursday in Great Britain as part of an investigation into espionage in favor of Russia. They are suspected of offenses under the National Security Act, and the investigation is being led by the London anti-terror police. The arrests took place at addresses in west and central London, where searches are still ongoing. Commander Dominic Murphy stated that these arrests are part of efforts to combat the activities of foreign intelligence services, warning that anyone contacted to carry out criminal activities on behalf of a foreign state will be investigated and may face prosecution.
