Three corpses, two men and a 15-year-old adolescent, were discovered shot dead in a trailer in Bulgaria, following a triple murder that shocked the country. The announcement was made by the police chief, Zahari Vaskov, who stated that the investigation is unprecedented for Bulgaria. The trailer, belonging to an NGO that hosts young people, had previously been involved in allegations of sexual abuse against children and paramilitary activities.
The investigation suggests that the crimes may be linked to a closed community, similar to a cult. The interim attorney general compared the situation to a "Bulgarian Twin Peaks," highlighting the serious nature of the case. The victims have been identified as members of the NGO, and the mountain refuge where the crimes took place has been set on fire. Authorities are investigating all possible hypotheses.
