Three American fighter jets were accidentally shot down by Kuwait, the US announces.

Three F-15E Strike Eagles of the United States were accidentally shot down by Kuwait's air defense during Operation Epic Fury, according to a statement issued by the United States Central Command.

The six crew members successfully ejected and were recovered, being in stable condition. Kuwait acknowledged the incident and was commended for the efforts of its defense forces.
