The World Health Organization (WHO) issued a warning on Tuesday regarding the "black rain" in Iran, which could cause respiratory problems for the population. This phenomenon has arisen following attacks on oil facilities, and the WHO announced that it supports the recommendations of Iranian authorities, who advise citizens to stay indoors.

The UN health agency has received reports about rain contaminated with oil, and Tehran has been affected by black smoke following attacks on refineries, part of a campaign carried out by the United States and Israel. WHO spokesperson Christian Lindmeier emphasized that black rain and acid rain pose a serious danger to public health, especially for the respiratory system. He confirmed that, given the current situation, staying at home is a prudent measure.
