The war in the Middle East is escalating, and the exchanges of rockets between Iran and Israel are causing significant collateral damage. Recently, a fragment of an Iranian rocket hit a residential building in Jerusalem, used by the U.S. consul in Israel, according to reports from the Israeli press. Although Israel has a strong air defense that intercepts most rockets and drones, their debris continues to cause damage and casualties. Additionally, Iran has announced the use of a new type of rocket, Sejil, which has a range of 2,000 to 2,500 kilometers. This ballistic missile, introduced into service in 2014, costs approximately $500,000 each. Further details about the incident in Jerusalem are not yet available.
