The U.S. State Department has issued a mandatory departure order for government personnel and their families from Jordan, Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, and Kuwait, citing increased security risks, including threats of drone and missile attacks from Iran. The U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, emphasized that Americans in Israel have very limited options to leave the country, and the embassy cannot provide direct assistance. Citizens are advised to use the buses of the Israeli Ministry of Tourism to reach Egypt, where they can find flights. However, many airlines have suspended flights in the region, and over 1,000 flights have been recently canceled. The State Department has recommended that citizens leave using available commercial travel, but the limited number of flights complicates evacuation. Other countries, such as Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia, have also issued warnings to avoid the region.
